Aventura parks are fairly new and the residents today are the first generation that's building a relationship with these parks. Let's take example from those in New York City that have a culture based around the city parks and a love for these public spaces. One example is Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village. This park is now closed for construction and this has caused a lot of residents to get vocal about their park.
"I came across a blog that is focused on Washington Square Park. It’s an amazing blog that is truly hyper local. In the spirit of our local Aventura blog, the Washington Square Park blog is highly relevant to local residents and an international base of daily visitors. I was inspired when I discovered the Washington Square blog and realized the power of blogging to a city. It’ll soon be that people will blog about their block, street, or floor of their apartment building. Every city will have a network of local bloggers reporting news and featuring businesses and services in their area. The WSP blog is developing a voice of those that remember the park and want it back. "
