It's been a great year for the growth of DestinyMaker.
On January 1st 2008 I announced my route for the 3rd annual cross country ride. This ride was to be my longest to date. It also turned out to be the most difficult.
Also in January, Nyle and I were invited by the National Epilepsy Foundation to attend their 2008 Speak out conference. This would be held at the end of March just 4 weeks before I would go to Denver to begin this year's bike ride.
In March, Nyle and I attended the conference and had a great time. The learning experience for Nyle was invaluable. He had to deliver a message to Senate staff and Congresswoman Wasserman-Schultz. He hit a home run. We also had the honor to walk with the Congresswoman who was kind enough to take a photo with Nyle with the Capital building in the back ground.
In the Spring issue of Healthy Living Magazine they did a article on DestinyMaker which was read by millions. This was the largest distribution of any press so far.
Sacha Sackett gives destinymaker permission to use his song "Stuck in the Sunset" for the 2008 destinymaker video.
At the end of April I started my 2008 ride and went west to Moab, Utah south to Phoenix, west to Malibu, North on the PCH crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. I went North into Oregon, Washington. I crossed into Canada just North of Seattle. I then went East when I arrived back into the US at International Falls, Minn. I crossed Michigan. Back into Canada I went to Toronto. Back to America at Niagara Falls. There I went south all the way home to Aventura. 8100 miles in 81 days.
In Calgary I received a medal for my efforts in raising awareness.
During physical rest for nearly 2 months I opened the destinymaker facebook page. In a few months I have sent out hundreds of messages and articles on other families and research. I'm proud of the work done here and I will continue the group for years to come.
In September the 2008 DestinyMaker Video was released.
In October I announced I would attempt a 24 hour bike ride raising Epilepsy awareness not by mile but by hour. What am I thinking? Riders in Countries around the world will join biking one hour while I ride 24.
In November I was contacted by the Epilepsy Genome Project to help raise awareness on their research which could unlock the mysteries of Epilepsy. In January I will fly to San Fran and meet their team.
December 1st I started my training program for the 24 hour event. In the 3 weeks of training I feel as if I am ready for the challenge.
Mid December Nyle had an operation to fix his right foot and all is deemed a success. Nyle came home and is doing great.
At the end of December I found out that all paperwork to form the destinymaker charity will be submitted in early January of 2009 and pending State approval I will reach the dream of that goal.
The destinymaker web site has now recorded hits from 60 Countries and close to 2000 cities.
It's been a great year but there is much still to do and I will triple my efforts to bring attention to the world about Epilepsy.
Go to www.destinymaker.org for more information.
Nyle and I wish you a Happy New Year!!!!!

Gold Buyer Aventura
These tough economic times are difficult especially during the holiday season. There are many people looking for ways to get fast cash. In Aventura there are many jewelry stores selling items at great prices. However, if you go online you can discover some great deals for gold online and diamonds. This is not the only way gold and diamonds have been selling in a troubled market.
There are many gold buyers in Aventura, Sunny Isles, Hallandale, and these buyers buy gold for cash on the spot. Jason Wasser Marriage and Family Therapy
www.lifeworkstherapies.com
In the midst of a world economic crisis, millions of families will be challenged in ways that can cause significant negative effects to their lives. As a Marriage and Family Therapist here in South Florida, economic stress is one of the main reasons why a couple or family will initiate therapy with me. In fact, Viktor Gecas, professor of sociology and head of the Department of Sociology at Purdue University notes that “research shows that this kind of stress can lead to changes in family members and in family dynamics, such as husbands becoming irritable and wives becoming depressed, as well as more extreme problems such as mental health issues, alcoholism, drug abuse and family violence.”
How we learn to cope with this present situation is based on the resources that we have access to. Families that were already struggling before the present crisis may be hit the hardest. The friends and family members that they usually can count of in times of need may also be affected by their own economic woes.
Wasser continues to explain this issue in greater detail in his full article about economic crisis and the family - visit the link to read on. Please spread the word and pass it on. This is very helpful in a time of need for most people.

Florist Aventura
There are many local florists in Aventura FL, but when you don't have time buy flowers online and they'll deliver to 33180 or the Aventura, Sunny Isles surrounding areas. These Aventura florists are great for flower gifts to friends and family. The last time I bought flowers it was a quick decision on the way home from work. It would have been much easier to call a flower shop in Aventura and have that florist deliver the flowers.
Almost all florists in Aventura and Sunny Isles provide home delivery. There's another easy way to get flowers delivered to any Aventura location - order flowers online. This is the easiest way to make sure you have flowers when the time demands it.
Think about it, a local flower shop is a vital part of any city - everyone needs a place to buy flowers. When you don't have the time order flowers online. Aventura is no exception and Aventura florists are located all around the City for your flower needs. To find out more about ordering flowers online in Aventura visit this article about Aventura florists.

"The famed New York boutique specialty store is finally open in the Aventura Mall. As of this weekend, the best place to scope out the newest in fashion will be at 19501 Biscayne Boulevard. Amongst the pricey pieces you can’t find anywhere else, are brands like Rafe handbags, Paula Dorf and YSL cosmetics, Rebecca Minkoff accessories, Alex and Ani charm bracelets, and of course their own line of just about everything you need to look and feel great this season."

Lumpy Sue this Friday
LUMPY SUE MUSICFEST
Hey Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Golden Beach, Highland Lakes, Sky Lake, and the surrounding area, LISTEN UP!
This coming Friday is the Lumpy Sue MusicFest at Greynolds Park. You all know where Greynolds Park is, it's been there forever. It hasn't moved. This is an all day event and it's free, there are amazing bands playing live music and lots of awesome people chilling out.
The concert is free, but we hold a raffle to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami. As you know, Habitat for Humanity raises money to build homes in distressed areas. One-hundred percent of the money raised through the raffle stays in our community to help those in need.
This is the perfect way to give thanks and give back to those less fortunate. I've been going to this event for years and always have an amazing time. Check out photos from last year's Lumpy Sue.
NOW YOU KNOW ABOUT IT, SEE YOU THERE.

USAJobNetworks.com Aventura Jobs unite
Recently, we were contacted by USAJobNetworks.com regarding their amazingly simple and useful widget. Typically, we are not easily impressed and excited about most new software and widgets. There’s so much on the market and everybody thinks they’re going to be the next Bill Gates, but in reality they’re just more static on the web. I know that’s harsh, but we tell it like it is; however, it was quickly apparent that USAJobNetworks.com was different. They were on to something GREAT.
If you take a look at our menu navigation bar you will notice a category labeled “jobs.” You will quickly see the menu navigation change and be replaced with Aventura sales jobs, Aventura legal jobs, Aventura medical jobs, Aventura marketing jobs, Aventura accounting jobs. This is the power of USAJobNetworks.com widgets. We now can offer our readers job listing in Aventura, FL. Many people our constantly searching different website for jobs in Aventura, with the help of the widgets we have a one stop shop for those looking for jobs in Aventura.

New Wine Bar in Aventura
Foodies, wine lovers, and fellow Aventura-dwellers there's a new restaurant coming to town Bar Rosso. Scheduled to open in the next few months, it is nestled right in the heart of Aventura's new downtown, so Bar Rosso couldn't be any easier to get to and it will be right in the center of the action.
The developers of Bar Rosso saw the need for a neighborhood place, where locals could pop in for a glass of wine, a quick bite, some conversation, eat dinner, and then just hang around to take in the scene. This kind of specialty restaurant is just what we need; it's the destination all can enjoy.
So, why should we all flock there Reason #1: Bar Rosso is South Florida's first and only Vinoteca(yes, just like Enoteca, but with a new twist). Note: In case you don't know, an Enoteca is Italian and literally translates to wine library. Traditionally, Enotecas offer a large variety of local wines, little plates of food, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Bar Rosso will be all that, plus more.
Reason #2: Bar Rosso will not only stock an excellent ever-changing assortment of wines by the glass, but also a mozzarella bar (which is totally trendy right now), a 20-seat communal table near the bar area to encourage mixing and mingling, an open kitchen so those who want can watch the chef create and plate delicious dishes, a 12 seat table enclosed in handcrafted wine walls for one-of-a-kind dining experiences, and a menu filled with what should prove to be a well-rounded collection of classic Italian fare interpreted with a new world twist.
The atmosphere will be addictive and accessible to all. The wine selections outstanding (reasons #3 and #4). About 80 percent of the initial wines will be Italian; the other 20 percent an assortment from other countries. Check out reds including Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Dolcetto, Merlot, Brunello, and Montepulciano. White fans will be able to sample Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Trebbiano, and Semillon, among many others. Naturally, you can enjoy little tastes or enjoy a full meal too.
Split your time between the Tavern, an inviting indoor environment (complete with an old-school Wurlitzer juke box for patrons to play with) or step out into The Park, an outdoor patio that has been transformed through using photographs, into a soothing space where you can lose yourself and enjoy the moment.
And if all the above isn't enough, (drum roll please, reason #5) Bar Rosso is scheduled to have a full calendar of events including wine tastings, interactive wine education seminars, young professionals nights, pairings, and more. The space is ideal for corporate events and can be taken over in its entirety or partially. And since this is a neighborhood place, Bar Rosso believes in giving back. A portion of some event proceeds will go to the Humane Society, its charity of choice.
On the verge of opening (I'll let you know more, when they know), Bar Rosso is the destined to be the new place to see and be seen. See you there. If you want to sign up for the V.I.P. Grazie Club (be the first to get all the insider information and benefits), visit the website at http://www.barrosso.com/

Aventura Florida Blog
There have been several changes that have been going on with the blog. We've received a lot of positive feedback relating to our new website - Aventura Blog, Aventura Real Estate, Aventura Jobs. This site will continue to grow as we add new pages. Scheduled to release in the next few weeks, is a restaurant section. If you have any ideas regarding a section for the new site, please send us an email. We look forward to your input.
Our current blog, the one you're reading right now will continue to exist. We'll be up dating this blog along with the dot com site. There are still many articles on this website that are very popular.
Here's some of the most recent popular blog articles.
1. The blog post regarding the traffic light camers in Aventura was extremely popular. We've all seen the cameras around the Aventura circle and on Biscayne Blvd. Big brother is watching all of us as we drive by in our BMW, Benz, Range Rover, and other luxury autos. This post explores some of the legal background of the traffic light cameras in Aventura.
2. This blog post was about the Atlantic One at The Point in Aventura Florida. This explored the luxury lifestyle in an apartment in Atlantic One The Point. Our readers gave us a great response via email. Many readers are owners or potential buyers in the Atlantic One at The Point, so this information was very relevant. Since I'm also a Realtor, I was able to connect a link with available condos for sale in Atlantic One at The Point and for rent. Residents in other condos in Aventura have requested that we feature their apartment building in Aventura. This pages will develop as the website continues to grow.

This past Saturday night I saw "Gonzo," the documentary film about Hunter S. Thompson. I highly recommend that all Hunter S. Thompson fans go see this movie. Those who've never heard of him will also enjoy the film. It's playing at Regal Cinema on Lincoln Road on South Beach.
This guy spoke his mind and rattled conventional ideas about society, government, and the written word. I posted the trailer to the film once before, but here it is again.

I just heard the news that Randy Pausch passed away. I was somber, then I smiled. After listening to his book on CD, I knew he had the privilege of accomplishing a lot and seeing his dreams come alive. He is the author of "The Last Lecture," an incredible story about achieving your childhood dreams. His story is an inspiration.

AVENTURA MALL ART
I took this picture in the Aventura Mall in the new section near the Ferrari Store. I found out more about this image on the New York Times website. Here's the info from the series of Thoughts on Democracy...
"Liberty Weeps" by Elliott Earls, 2008.
Clearly, Norman Rockwell’s America this is not. Elliott Earls’s reinterpretation of Rockwell’s “Four Freedoms” practically screams. A little girl seems to be crying, her eye bruised, with an American flag in the background and two words framing her figure: “Liberty Weeps.” The color scheme is red, white and blue, but patriotic pride has been supplanted by sadness.

Golden Toilet
Gold has recently soared in value and gained worldwide attention. The front page of the Wall Street Journal this Monday featured an entertaining story about Hang Fung jewellers in China. Years ago, this company built an extravagant Hall of Gold to attract tourists to its company and to raise brand awareness. It worked and now it's bringing them even more attention as they melt down tons of gold. They're melting everything except their solid gold toilet. They built everything when gold was at $200.00 an ounce and sold as gold pushed to $1,000.00.
Today's Gold Price
I guess once you're accustomed to a gold toilet there's no turning back.Tons of people visit HK regularly to see the holy throne - Holy S#$!.

• Automobile accidents
• Slip and falls
• Animal attacks
• Assaults
• Medical malpractice
• Defective products
• Workplace injuries
• Motorcycle accidents
• Boating accidents
• Nursing home abuse
• Defamation; and
• False arrest.
If you have suffered any type of injury as the result of an act or a failure to act by someone else, you should contact an attorney immediately to protect your rights. The law places a deadline on how long you have to bring a claim. This deadline, known as a statute of limitations, varies from state to state and on the type of claim being brought.
There are an incredible number of lawyers available for a person to select from and it is important to choose the right one. If you find a personal injury attorney in Aventura, Florida make sure that he or she specializes in personal injury. He should be able to accurately assess the merits and weaknesses of your case and approximate its monetary value. He should have experience working with insurance companies and have some trial experience. He should be professional in his service to you by promptly returning your phone calls and keeping you updated as to the status of your case. Finally, you should make sure that you are both in agreement as to the fees and costs for proceeding with the action. Most personal injury lawyers handle cases on a contingency fee basis, meaning they only get paid from the monetary award or settlement and if you do not win, they do not get paid.
Most personal injury lawyers in Aventura will provide you with a free initial consultation. It is during this consultation that the attorney will determine if he or she will take on your case and a fee agreement between the parties will be reached. During this consultation you should feel free to ask questions, such as asking about trial experience, to make sure that not only are you the right client for them but that they are the right attorney for you.

Starbucks in Aventura
There are two Starbucks in Aventura that are traditional storefront locations. There's also a Starbucks kiosk in the Aventura Mall and probably a few others hidden around town. These Starbucks are not part of the 600 Starbucks that will be closing this summer. In fact, walk into any of the Aventura Starbucks and you'll have trouble finding a seat - they're packed. It seems few people are phased by the slowing economy and refuse to give up their $5.00 plus designer coffee.
Here's a map of the Starbucks location in and around Aventura, Florida.
Here's a blurb from a recent article about the closings. I also included a video of Luis Black, comedian, giving his insight into today's Starbucks culture.

As many as 12,000 Starbucks workers will lose their jobs when the company begins closing 600 U.S. stores this summer.
The Seattle coffee company is cutting 5 percent of its U.S. locations as part of a wide-ranging effort to boost its bottom line and its stock price. The chain is accelerating international growth.
Most customers whose Starbucks stores close will be a short walk from a caffeine fix, the company said, because many of the unprofitable stores were being cannibalized by nearby Starbucks locations.
This video explains the phenomenon just mentioned...

Jewish Community Aventura
Recently, I came across an article, on the net, from Canada that mentioned the Jewish community in Aventura, Florida. It's true that there is a vibrant Jewish community in Aventura that has developed over the years. The community has developed many synagogues, kosher restaurants, and several other Jewish services. The article I discovered clearly reports that this Jewish community is highly regarded by many. Here's a blurb from the article...
The Big Read: Sitting atop Jewish Living's list of Top 10 North American Jewish neighbourhoods is Aventura, Florida, a high-rise laden community just north of Miami and "the neighbourhood of choice for young Jewish families seeking luxury in a tropical climate." Boulder, Colorado and Lower Merion in Philadelphia claim spots No. 2 and 3 before Canada muscles in with its only entry -- Montreal's "McGill Ghetto," described here as having an "old-school, immigrant feel" that lends it the flavour of New York's Lower East Side, "but with tree-lined streets." - OTTAWA MAGAZINE

Gorillas using Cell Phones
When Apple's first generation Iphone was released it seemed that everyone in Aventura had it. The Apple store in the Aventura Mall was out of stock and the people kept coming in asking for it. The popularity of this phone proved there really is a cell-phone craze. Cell-phones have become a status symbol, causing a high demand to own the most recent and most expensive phone.
I've noticed that Iphone owners never keep the phone in their pocket when at a meeting, having coffee, or at a restaurant. The phone is placed on the table in front of its owner where everyone can see it. It's a cool phone and a great conversation piece; however, let's remember it's a phone and nothing more. Yes it has cool features and you can surf the net, but there's no real reason why every six months people feel like they need to buy the new "it" phone.
I've been reading some articles about potential consequences about our thirst for more cell-phones - click here to read the National Geographic article. I discovered that there is a mineral known as coltan, a mineral extracted in the deep forests of Congo in Africa. This location is also the home of the world's endangered lowland gorillas. This mineral is essential to cell-phone technology and its high demand is slowly destroying the natural habitat of gorillas and funding a brutal civil war in Democratic Republic of Congo.
The connection between war, gorillas and cell phones surprised me. I wonder why this is never spoken about on the news or a popular topic of everyday conversation? We use cell phones everyday and everyone I know has one, so I guess it's not something tech lovers want to hear. There's so much money in this cell phone revolution that I wouldn't be surprised if these companies have actively suppressed this topic from becoming mainstream. Check out the video on YouTube - http://youtube.com/watch?v=-QwI2O1_HlI
Watch these two videos and decide what's an important focus.
I have a Blackberry and don't plan on giving it up soon, but this situation certainly resonates in my head each time the phone rings. I'm going to research this issue more and maybe I'll give up my cell phone. It'll be great to have piece of mind again - no 24/7 constant contact. Also, without the cell phone maybe people will actually commit to a plan of when and where to meet.
Remember before cell phones you'd call someone and make plans to meet and they'd show up there. Now, we say "call me when you're in the area and we'll figure out a place and time." Even more frustrating are the cancellations. If you made plans to meet before the cell phone age and you called to cancel but get no answer, you knew you had to meet up unless it was a real emergency. Now people feel like they can always call and cancel or be late because they have the option to leave a message or tell you an excuse. These are the times and it's bad for business and relationships.
Do some Google searches about gorillas and cell phones, you be the judge. Pass it on and spread the word. Now you might think twice about showing off your new cell phone.

Interior Designer Aventura Interview
Q: Leonardo, how did you get started in the interior design and home renovation business?
A: I have been in the hotel business for about twenty five years (25) as an owner/manager. I transitioned from that to focusing on single family homes and condos. I sold the hotels and wanted to continue my involvement with transforming space into an atmosphere that's relaxing and comfortable. Working with single family homes and condos was a perfect fit for my talents. I enjoy working on each new project and building a relationship with the owners.
Q: Interesting, the hotel business. Where were the hotels?
A: When I came to the United States in 1978 from Buenos Aires, Argentina I headed for Sunny Isles. The hotels were mostly in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. If you've been living in the area long enough you'd remember the Desert Inn, Magic Isle, and Sun Spa in Hollywood. I also had involvement with the Sahara and the Beach Club.
Q: How do you use your experience from the hotel business in your work today?
A: I still keep in contact with some of the subcontractors that worked for me back in the hotel days. These types of relationships are vital to my success in home renovations. I know how to get things done and who to call. Don't forget I was the owner/ manager of those hotels, so if something had to be fixed it was in my best interest to get it done fast and for the best price. My clients benefit from this type of experience. Most people wouldn't even know where to begin, I know how to get things started correctly and how to cross the finish line fast.
Q: Sounds good, what's the best way for people to get an idea of your work?
A: You can see my portfolio on my website - click link Aventura Interior Designer . The url is www.primacassa.com. I can always be reached by phone at 786.301.2576.
Thanks for the interview Leonardo! I'm confident that our readers in the community will enjoy reading about your beginnings and how they can benefit from your experience. It's great to follow up with you and I look forward to seeing the photos when you're finished with your current project in Aventura.

GONZO JOURNALISM
Hunter S. Thompson forced journalism to take a sharp turn. He pushed it to the edge and fell off. He carved a new road and fell off again. Nobody could plot his writing in a straight line and predict his next adventure. He transformed his life travels and experiences into novels that shocked literature and demanded their own genre. Hunter Thompson, the mad scientist of words, created gonzo journalism.
His style is just as important and American as Jazz music. That's why it's appropriate the movie about Hunter's life will be released this coming July 4th. GONZO is the highly anticipated documentary film about the man and the legend - Hunter Thompson.

Summer and Education
What does summer have that the rest of the year is missing? Right, summer in America is a “vacation time”. Families go away, kids go to camp, people just stop what they do during the rest of the year, and for those two to three months, June, July and August, people just do different things. Now, while we all know that vacations are important and getting away from the “every day routine” is important, that doesn’t mean that our minds must stagnate and do nothing that has anything to do with education. So, what I am suggesting is abhorrent, beyond the imagination, “real way out” but, what we should consider is READING! Reading a book can be fun, especially if it is a book that we enjoy and without a deadline. Reading can put us in different places, whether real or imaginary. We might want to read the books scheduled for the next school year or read just for reading’s sake.
One of the things that I enjoyed doing when I was a kid was reading comic books. They were fun, exciting and put me in a different quadrant. Nowadays, those same comic books that cost ten cents, in good condition, cost hundreds of dollars!. In fact, I recently met someone who enjoyed comic books so much, and his mother didn’t throw them out, that he now has a career selling and trading vintage comic books.
How about writing? We can write a story, write in our diary, write a synopsis of the book we are reading or write just to write. In the past, I might have suggested summer school, in which we could have taken courses earlier and could have graduated sooner, but unfortunately, in Florida that is no longer an option.
The summer months are important since they give us time to think, recollect and gather our resources together for what comes for the next school year. Let’s not waste the time; let’s do things that have meaning. Remember the commercial that said “a brain is a terrible thing to waste”, so let’s give summer some meaning. Let’s do things that motivate us, enhance us, and will teach us. Good luck and have a good summer!

Golf Course in Aventura
Get in shape and back on track. The golf course in Aventura is surrounded by a path used by runners, walkers, dogs, baby strollers, cyclists, roller bladers, and even the archaic roller skaters. This is the most popular exercise destination in Aventura. I'm an advocate for getting out in the fresh air and taking in the rays. It's the best way to exercise in Aventura.
Everyone who lives in Aventura is likely aware of this location, it's referred to as "the circle." I haven't measured the distance of one full go around, but I've been told it's three (3) miles. That's a perfect distance to get a nice workout. If you're not familiar with this track, drive to Country Club Drive and you'll see all shapes and sizes enjoying the circle. Some go with a group and others go alone. I've been told it's a great place to meet singles.
The summer is a perfect time to get in shape and hit the track. If you thought about joining a gym, spa, or elite fitness club in Aventura then the circle is for you. Keep it simple and save your cash.
Let's take advantage of the few amenities the City of Aventura provides us, especially the space that's set aside for outdoor recreation. Where there's empty land there's always some developer that has a vision of transforming it into a shopping center, gas station, condo, or some other type of commercial structure, with no regard for the importance of empty space inside a city. That's why it's vital that we use this space and voice its value to our friends.
I know you've been thinking about taking that stroll or jog around the golf course. Hope to see you there.

George Carlin Remembered
This morning I woke up to sadly discover that the great comedian George Carlin passed away last night, he was 71. He was one of the most influential comics and a genius with words. Carlin had a perfect delivery that was able to take his audience on a roller coaster ride of laughter.
George Carlin was not only carving new joke premises and original structure, but he was also responsible for challenging America's concept of what is considered obscene. He was the topic of a Supreme Court case - FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION v. PACIFICA FOUNDATION, 438 U.S. 726, 98 S.Ct. 3026 (1978). He has an act known in short as "Seven Words," a brilliant word play.
I found this YouTube video of George Carlin performing his historic act. I believe this is the piece that George would like all of us to remember.

BATTLE OF THE BAGEL
The bagel is the Holy Grail of Jewish cuisine. This circular shield shaped food is a Jewish medallion that would be worn around the necks of Jewish men if only their wives would approve. Rumor has it there's a local man that wears a gold bagel on a chain, he drives a 1983 Buick Regal, wears Member Only jackets, and recently got really bad hair implants. He's the maven on bagels in Florida. Well, forget this bagel guru. I say, "bring the bagels to the people and let them decide." That's how Battle of the Bagel was born. It will be a true measure of water, flour, yeast, poppy and sesame.
There are a few locations to get a great bagel in Aventura, Florida. Many residents in Aventura appreciate the art of making a good bagel and love their bagel shops. After years of eating in these restaurants it became obvious that customers are very loyal to their particular restaurant and swear it's the only place to get a "real bagel."
There are several spots you can get a good bagel in Aventura; however, I've decided it only comes down to two locations for an authentic bagel deli experience. You know the type of place, the kind that serves a fantastic bagel in addition to eggs, hash browns, matzoh ball soup, corned beef sandwiches, a killer cup of coffee, and every type of cookie and cake you can imagine. The type of place that serves matzah brei all year long. The two restaurants are Bagel Cove and Moe's Bagels. I included Einstein Bros. Bagels in the poll as a wild card (photo not available at this time).
Moe's Bagels
2780 Northeast 187th Street
Aventura, FL 33180
305-936-8555
Bagel Cove
19003 Biscayne Blvd
Aventura,FL 33180
305-935-4029
Einstein Bros. Bagels
18815 Biscayne Blvd
Aventura, FL 33180

I know many Aventura residents have deep rooted beliefs regarding who serves the best bagel. The only way to settle this matter is to have a vote. Please vote and pass it on. In one month we'll know who has the Greatest Bagel in 33180. Feel free to leave a comment by clicking the comment icon in the top right corner of the poll box.
